Meet the Co-Founder: Karen Gildea Hays

Our co-founder, Karen Gildea Hays, brings a legendary 45-year career in the Texas Real Estate industry to the Fogey Freedom mission. As a high-producing agent with eXp Realty, Karen specializes in the complex logistics of senior transitions, estate sales, and right-sizing across Dallas, Austin, and Houston.

Beyond the closing table, Karen is a dedicated Life Transition Coach. She understands that moving a home often involves moving a life, which is why she integrates her coaching philosophy into every real estate transaction.
